Obsoletes

These ones are duplicates because they represent a live term and an obsolete term with the same or similar name. No action needed.

PO:0004005 laticíferous cell c&#233lula latic&#237fera

OBSOLETE. A specialized cells or ducts resembling vessels; they form branched networks of latex-secreting cells in the phloem and other parts of plants.

PO:0025031 laticifer cell c&#233lula latic&#237fera A ground tissue cell that contains latex.

PO:0020014 columella columela

OBSOLETE: A rod-like element of the sexine/ectexine, either supporting the tectum or a caput. sexine 1

PO:0025230 columella columela

A portion of plant tissue that forms the central axis of a plant structure such as a fruit or moss capsule.

Not obsolete

Need to double check these translations.

PO:0003018 root cap of lateral root: caliptra de la ra&#237z lateral

A root cap that is part of a lateral root tip.

PO:0020131 lateral root cap: caliptra de la ra&#237z lateral

A portion of root parenchyma tissue that is part of a root cap and is parallel to the sides of a root axis.

These terms mean different things and should have slighltly different translations.

PO:0020002 endothecium: endotecio

A portion of hypodermis of an anther sac with distinctively thickened walls and involved in its dehiscence, especially when this is by slits. anther sac hypodermis

PO:0030049 endothecium: endotecio

PO:0020002 should be "anther wall endothecium"

PO:0030049 should be "sporangium wall endothecium".

Need to fix names in translation file to match live version. Need new translations.

PO:0009029 stamen: estambre

A microsporophyll bearing one or more microsporangia.

PO:0009047 stem: estambre

A shoot axis that is the primary axis of a plant. cane; culm; primary axis; stalk; trunk

Should these be different?

PO:0020004 exothecium: exotecio

A portion of stamen epidermis that is part of an anther sac, sometimes with distinctively thickened walls and involved in its dehiscence, usually only when this is poricidal. anther epidermis; anther sac epidermis

PO:0030073 exothecium: exotecio

PO:0020004 should be "anther wall exothecium". Need new translation.

PO:0004524 included phloem: floema interno

A portion of phloem tissue produced by included vascular cambium.

PO:0006216 internal phloem: floema interno

Primary phloem tissue positioned internal to the primary xylem. intraxylary phloem

I know these are close, but it seems like they shouldn't have the same translation

PO:0006369 lower glume of ear spikelet: gluma inferior del penacho (borla) de la espiguilla

The proximal/basal of the two glumes in the ear spikelet.

PO:0006372 lower glume of tassel spikelet: gluma inferior del penacho (borla) de la espiguilla

The proximal/basal of the two glumes in the tassel spikelet.

Again, I think these should be different translations

PO:0025182 sepal trichome: tricoma del s&#233palo

A phyllome trichome that is part of a sepal epidermis.

PO:0025188 tepal trichome: tricoma del s&#233palo

A phyllome trichome that is part of a tepal epidermis.

I think maybe this is just a typo, and PO:0025188 should be "tricoma del t&#233palo".
