Notes:

  • Main Ontology goal is the reworking of the PGDSO section of the PO
  • We will have some of the more plant-biology oriented parts of the meeting at the end, so folks who need to fly could leave earlier if necessary
  • LC will stay in NYC until Monday, and host the presentation for Physco from the NYBG see: Moss 2011 Meeting- PO presentation

Hotel info:

Hampton Inn in Yonkers

The Hampton Inn provides a shuttle to the Yonkers Metro North train station. The Metro North train can be used to reach NYC (Harlem, 125th St or Grand Central Station), but Yonkers is not on the same line as the Botanical Garden, so you cannot travel back and forth between the NYBG and Yonkers by train.

The most efficient way to reach the NYBG on Saturday and Sunday morning would be to have the hotel call a cab or car service. Sharing a ride with three people will not be too expensive.

Ramona may be able drive people back to the hotel on Saturday evening, after dinner.
