Changes

  • Spanish synonyms are in and seem to be working fine, except that we still should have the descriptor "(Spanish:)" preceding them. Look up notes from meeting...
  • Japanese synonyms?
  • Should we wait for MaizeGDB to send all their new annotations?
  • Addition of grape annotations??
  • Other changes (RW will fill in):

- Eliminating_Zea/Poaceae_terms_from_PO

Additional edits to finish before release

We discussed having a release in September, 2011

We are using the list I translated (the English version of course) and added them as keywords in Plantsystematics.org as a search engine as well."

Travel details:

LC: PDX to LGA Friday Sept 9th, returning Monday Sept 12th. Staying at Hampton Inn Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

PJ: Coming by train with DWS from DC on Friday Sept 9th, Staying at Hampton Inn Friday and Saturday nights, leaving Sunday afternoon (?)

MAG: Arriving Friday afternoon, staying with DWS, leaving Sunday afternoon

RW: Will drive back and forth to NYBG for the meetings

Hotel info:

Hampton Inn in Yonkers

The Hampton Inn provides a shuttle to the Yonkers Metro North train station. The Metro North train can be used to reach NYC (Harlem, 125th St or Grand Central Station), but Yonkers is not on the same line as the Botanical Garden, so you cannot travel back and forth between the NYBG and Yonkers by train.

The most efficient way to reach the NYBG on Saturday and Sunday morning would be to have the hotel call a cab or car service. Sharing a ride with three people will not be too expensive.

Ramona may be able drive people back to the hotel on Saturday evening, after dinner.
