Instead, we should use the term phyllome epidermis (which we already have) and make petal epidermis, sepal epidermis, etc., children of phyllome epidermis. There is only one direct annotation to floral epidermis, and it could probably be moved to the more specific parts of the flower. I also suggest that we obsolete floral stomatal complex, and replace it with terms like petal stomatal complex.
